Set before the events of Hunter's Moon: The Mongrel, The Lioness tells of a solo mission by Mara Truveau, A lion of the Athalon.

The infamous pirate, The Kirin, has been raiding fringe colonies, stockpiling prisoners and supplies. One such raid cost several Elysian lives, including members of the Athalon Temple.

When you want a criminal run to ground, you send the Regiment. When you want that same criminal dead, you send the Lioness!
